Welcome! You have arrived at a website operated by Yamazaki USA, Inc. or our affiliates (“Yamazaki Home,” “we”, “our” or “us”). Yamazaki creates home goods, housewares and happy-making objects with small-space sensibility.

- Sensitive Personal Information. We may collect password or credentials for the use of our Services. If you apply for employment with us, we may collect government IDs (SSN, driver’s license, state ID card, passport number), and citizenship or immigration status.

Do Not Track
Your browser may offer you a “Do Not Track” (“DNT”) option, which allows you to signal to operators of websites and web applications and services (including behavioral advertising services) that you do not wish such operators to track certain of your online activities over time and across different websites and platforms. There is no universally agreed-upon standard for what an organization should do when it detects a DNT signal. Communication Preferences
Yamazaki Home communicates with you via a variety of print and digital media. To help us make e-mails more useful and interesting, we include pixels that enable us to see if you open e-mails from us, if your computer supports such capabilities. You can opt out of receiving emails by unsubscribing at the bottom of our emails. Analytics
We use Google Analytics to help us understand how our customers use the Site. You can read more about how Google uses your Personal Information here. We may verify your identity and residency before processing requests such as asking for your email address before granting you access to information or acting on your request, as required or permitted by law. If you use an authorized agent, we may require proof of written authorization you have been given to make the request.
Response Timing
We will confirm receipt of your request within 10 business days describing our verification process. We will respond to your request within 45 days or left you know if we need additional time.

If we deny your request, you may appeal our decision by contacting us at privacy@theyamazakihome.com. Please include “Privacy Rights Appeal” in the subject line and explain the basis for your appeal.

California Rights
California residents may have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”) as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (“CPRA”)

10. Data Retention
We retain each category of Personal Information for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Notice, including to provide the Services, maintain business and financial records, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, and comply with legal obligations. Retention periods vary depending on the type of information and how it is used; we will not retain Personal Information for longer than reasonably necessary for the disclosed purposes.
11. Security
We seek to use reasonable organizational, technical and administrative measures to protect Personal Information. Unfortunately, no data transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.
